In compliance with the regulations of Law 13.709, known as the General Law of Data Protection (LGPD), Revista Brasileira de Segurança Pública informs below the specific purpose of the data used and how they are being captured.

The names, addresses and general data informed through user registration and submission will be used exclusively for the services provided by this publication (RBSP) and by the Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública (FBSP), and will not be made available for other purposes or to third parties.

Among the purposes of data use can be mentioned:

• Communication between the interested parties (RBSP and system users such as: authors, referees and registered readers of the journal), which will allow, for example, the user to receive the summary via e-mail with each new issue, or notifications related to the editorial flow.
• Invitations and announcements related to FBSP publications, projects, research, and events, all related to the priority themes of the entity.
• Scientific dissemination of the published texts and presentation of the data of the authors and co-authors as a demonstration of good publication practices and ethics in scientific journals (Email - chosen by the author himself to be disclosed; name; Orcid and institutional affiliation).

We inform that all information sent is saved in the OJS system (Open Journal System), being used by the editorial flow and accessed only by the technical team of the journal.
