This article aimed to identify and analyze leader prototypes for different generational cohorts in the military firefighters' corporation, based on the Implicit Leadership Theory. In the literature, there are few works that address implicit leadership in different generational cohorts and no studies were found that focus on this theme in a military context, which confirms the relevance and originality of this research. The qualitative method and data collection through focus groups were adopted to achieve the objective, subdivided by generational cohorts. The thematic analysis technique found that the Baby Boomers Generation presented the prototype of the leader more focused on affective relationships, Generation X, a guiding and resolute leader, and Generation Y, a leader focused on innovation and technological development.
